The day I was given Nose Spray for an Ear Ache…

I feel dreadful.  Physically.  Mono-esque, in fact.  It’s terrible.  A full-on week after what seemed like a cold.  I won’t bore you with the details, nor with those of the horrific DOUBLE wait at the drop-in clinic.  [haha, My mother is just furious that through all the waiting, I didn’t end up with antibiotics.  We are SO not the poster family for “Not all bugs need drugs!”]

Instead,

This is from the not-distant-past and resonated for some reason once re-encountered:
To live content with small means; to seek elegance rather than luxury, and refinement rather than fashion; to be worthy, not respectable, and wealthy, not, rich; to listen to stars and birds, babes and sages, with open heart; to study hard; to think quietly, act frankly, talk gently, await occasions, hurry never; in a word, to let the spiritual, unbidden and unconscious, grow up through the common–this is my symphony.

WILLIAM HENRY CHANNING.

Hmmmm, I like.

And with that, I’m off to take a break from marking, complaining, and being bored.  Time to hit the grocery store and maybe even the local Starbucko’s for some Tea.  Here’s to feeling GREAT (and maybe even caught-up) this weekend.
